This opportunity will be based primarily in Frisco, Texas, there the flexibility for it to be in any STV Texas office and offers the chance to manage high-impact infrastructure work, guide technical teams, and shape how high-quality project data is captured, processed, and delivered.

Why STV? You will join a collaborative team that is investing in the future infrastructure delivery-combining survey expertise, reality capture, automation, and digital tools to deliver better data, faster for our clients.

If you are a geospatial leader who enjoys mentoring teams, building strong client and project relationships, and turning complex field data into practical project intelligence, this role offers the platform to make a measurable impact across a growing Texas operation.

What You'll Do

  • Process, manage, and quality-check geospatial data using tools such as Trimble Business Center, Leica Cyclone, DJI Terra, Pix4D, Civil 3D, and related platforms.
  • Develop accurate digital deliverables, including point clouds, orthomosaics, terrain models, surface models, existing conditions models, utility mapping, and 3D reality capture datasets.
  • Collaborate with survey crews, engineers, utility teams, construction professionals, and project managers to turn field data into reliable project intelligence.
  • Support boundary, deed, easement, right-of-way, survey, utility, construction, and as-built deliverables in coordination with licensed survey professionals.
  • Integrate geospatial data into design and digital delivery workflows using Civil 3D, OpenRoads, ArcGIS, MicroStation, and related applications.
  • Help advance STV's Better Data, Faster initiative by improving workflows, applying automation, and supporting the use of AI, digital twins, and reality capture technology.
  • Lead technical input for scopes, proposals, estimates, client discussions, standards, and best practices for geospatial and reality capture services.
  • Serve as a trusted technical and managerial resource for field teams, CAD staff, survey technicians, engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams while maintaining safe and compliant practices.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in surveying, geomatics, geospatial technology, reality capture, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with UAV/UAS, LiDAR, laser scanning, photogrammetry, GNSS, and geospatial data processing workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of survey principles, coordinate systems, control networks, field-to-finish workflows, and data quality standards.
  • Experience supporting transportation, municipal, utility, land development, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Trimble Business Center, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, Leica Cyclone, Pix4D, DJI Terra, ArcGIS Pro, OpenRoads, MicroStation, Carlson Survey, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license is a plus.
