About the Company
Quatrain is a fully remote, woman-owned content agency that blends strategy, storytelling, and design to create high-impact content. For more than a decade, our team of experienced writers, designers, and content strategists has worked with B2B brands across industries-from education to technology-to craft compelling blog posts, case studies, ebooks, videos, and more.
Position Overview
We're seeking experienced B2B writers for long-term freelance partnerships. Assignments may include case studies, blogs, ebooks, guidebooks, whitepapers, and other thought leadership content.
Many of our clients operate in the tech space, so you should be comfortable learning complex concepts and translating them into clear, compelling narratives for C-suite executives and decision-makers-often without technical backgrounds.
We're especially interested in writers who enjoy client interaction and can support or lead SME interviews, from developing questions to leading calls.
This is a remote, per-project freelance opportunity. Reliability, proactive communication, and consistent adherence to deadlines are essential.
The ideal candidate:
  • Works independently and develops strong narratives from interviews, outlines, source material, and background research
  • Delivers high-quality, polished, client-ready work with minimal need for revisions
  • Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively with our content team
  • Adheres to brand voice, tone, and style guidelines (AP Style proficiency required)
  • Is fluent in written and spoken English
  • Asks thoughtful questions and proactively clarifies ambiguity
  • Quickly develops working knowledge of new or complex subject matter
  • Has experience writing about complex topics for niche B2B audiences
  • Understands SEO best practices and keyword integration
  • Possesses excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills

Preferred qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a B2B content writer
  • Experience writing for senior executive audiences
  • Ability to lead SME interviews that drive productive discussion and nurture client relationships
  • Strong grasp of content marketing strategy and distribution channels
  • Experience working with B2B clients in tech, education, finance, or related industries
  • Ability to translate highly technical and complex topics into captivating, informative, and digestible content
