We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect with deep expertise in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain to lead enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives in our Worcester MA office in a hybrid work arrangement.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The ideal candidate will possess strong business and technical acumen, with a proven track record of designing and delivering modern insurance solutions across policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, customer engagement, and distribution channels.
This role requires a hands-on architect who can bridge business strategy and technology execution while driving cloud-native, customer-centric, and AI-enabled solutions.
This is a full-time, exempt position.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Solution Architecture & Leadership
  • Define and govern end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale P&C insurance platforms and digital initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
  • Develop architecture roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
  • Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical governance processes.
  • Provide technology leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.

P&C Insurance Domain
  • Design solutions supporting P&C insurance capabilities including:
  • Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Billing
  • Agency/Broker Portals
  • Customer Self-Service Platforms
  • Rating and Pricing
  • Regulatory and Compliance Requirements
  • Collaborate with business leaders to modernize legacy insurance applications and integrate third-party insurance platforms.

Digital & Customer Experience
  • Architect customer-facing web and mobile applications that improve customer acquisition, servicing, and claims experiences.
  • Design omnichannel experiences integrating portals, mobile apps, CRM platforms, and contact centers.
  • Ensure high availability, security, performance, and scalability across customer-facing solutions.

Cloud & Emerging Technologies
  • Lead adoption of cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure.
  • Define containerization and deployment strategies using Kubernetes.
  • Evaluate and implement Generative AI (GenAI) use cases such as:
  • Intelligent customer service
  • Claims automation
  • Knowledge assistants
  • Underwriting support
  • Document processing and summarization
  • Drive integration strategies leveraging APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience with 3+ years in Solution Architecture roles.
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry experience required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (i.e Lawful Permanent Resident or US Citizen)
  • Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with distributed Agile teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java-based Full Stack Development:
