Job description

CSG Partners is seeking a content developer and writer to help expand our established thought leadership platform around employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), business ownership transitions, and middle-market investment banking.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, researcher, and storyteller who can quickly understand complex financial, tax, and transaction-related topics and translate them into clear, compelling content for business owners, advisors, and other professional audiences.

This is not a start-from-zero opportunity. You'll build on CSG's established library of educational content, industry reputation, and network of referral sources while helping broaden the reach and impact of our thought leadership efforts.

Experience covering investment banking, capital markets, finance, or related business topics is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate complex ESOP, valuation, tax, transaction, and ownership-transition concepts into clear, engaging educational content.
  • Develop original thought leadership content, including articles, white papers, guides, email campaigns, social media content, presentations, and website resources.
  • Manage and expand CSG's library of branded materials, including presentations, one-sheets, and educational resources.
  • Identify new opportunities to expand the reach and distribution of CSG's content.
  • Support the development of complementary formats, including live presentations, video, and other digital media.

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial journalism, financial content development, investment banking communications, or a related field.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with subject matter experts and business leaders.
  • Familiarity with content management systems, marketing platforms, AI tools, SEO, and related content technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with video, podcast, or presentation development is a plus.

CSG Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
