Production Team Member 2

Position Summary:
The Operator 2 Team Member is an intermediate-level position on the Spin team. The Spin team’s goal is to produce the finished product of high-quality, premium ice cream in an efficient manner and to package the product correctly into pints and tubs. The Operator 2 Team Member has strong familiarity with the equipment and is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the production machinery. This position requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to food and plant safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years working in commercial food preparation, manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment. 
  • 6+ months machine operating experience.   
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

Knowledge and Critical Skills: 
  • Fluency in English. 
  • Strong attention to detail.   
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.  
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  
  • Comfortable working on a team in a manufacturing facility with other teams.  
  • Knowledge of pertinent local, federal, and state health and safety laws and regulations.    
  • Ability to uphold a high standard of service, efficiency, sanitation, and safety.  
  • Comfortable with operating a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment.
