Job description

DC Installer / Wireless Cabling Technician

Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, AZ
$25 to $35 per hour
Monday to Friday | 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM

40 hours per week + Unlimited Overtime
Contract to Hire


We are hiring experienced DC Installers, Structured Cabling Technicians, and Wireless Telecom Technicians for a long term infrastructure project at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

This is a hands on role supporting large scale network and wireless system installations inside airport and telecom environments. Candidates with experience in structured cabling, fiber, telecom equipment, LTE/5G, Ericsson, Nokia, or low voltage installations are highly encouraged to apply.


Responsibilities

• Install and route copper and fiber optic cabling
• Perform cable dressing, stitching, lacing, and labeling
• Install cable trays, racks, ladder racks, D rings, and J hooks
• Terminate and test fiber and copper connections
• Support LTE and 5G telecom equipment installations and upgrades
• Install and troubleshoot Ericsson and Nokia equipment
• Work in MDF, IDF, central plant, and telecom environments
• Read floor plans and follow installation layouts
• Follow OSHA and airport safety procedures
• Work alongside electricians, engineers, and other technicians


Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in DC installation, structured cabling, telecom, or low voltage work
• Experience with fiber and copper cabling preferred
• Telecom or wireless experience is a plus
• Experience with Ericsson, Nokia, LTE, or 5G equipment preferred
• Ability to work in airport and large facility environments
• Reliable, safety focused, and dependable
• Comfortable working overtime as needed


Preferred Experience

• Fiber splicing and testing
• Telecom integrations and troubleshooting
• BBU installations and cabinet builds
• RF testing equipment such as Anritsu or T Bird
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
• Kansas City Stitching or H Stitching
