Job description

Our client is a fast-growing creator marketplace that has crossed $8M ARR with a team of less than 10. They are seeking a Head of Strategy & Biz Ops to serve as an extension of the founding team — touching every part of the business from internal systems and people ops to client-facing managed services.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who can context-switch between high-level strategy and hands-on admin without ego — and help 10x the founders' output as the company scales.

What You'll Do

  • Build and optimize internal systems and processes — CRM workflows, bug reporting pipelines, and campaign operations
  • Own high-level admin: payroll, contracts, onboarding, legal and tax coordination, and vendor management
  • Lead recruiting and people ops — screening candidates, running intro calls, and managing the hiring pipeline
  • Interface directly with managed service clients and support campaign health across accounts
  • Build playbooks and scalable processes to multiply the founders' output on the managed services side

Requirements

  • 3–6 years in strategy, ops, chief of staff, banking, or consulting roles
  • Worked directly with founders or leadership at a startup — Series A or earlier preferred
  • Extremely high ownership and agency — figures things out independently without waiting for direction
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking paired with elite organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel and analytical modeling skills
  • Experience building internal systems, processes, and CRM workflows
  • Client-ready presence — comfortable running sales or account calls independently
  • Entrepreneurial ventures, side projects, or freelance work showing initiative a plus
  • Strong academic background — top school or high campus involvement preferred

Benefits

  • Base salary range is $150k-$190k (a little wiggle room) with $50k-$150k equity; relocation bonus available.
  • Role is onsite in New York, requiring a 60-70 hour workweek; no visa sponsorship, but open to OPT candidates.
