Position Summary:
Clark Bros., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated EPC Project Manager to support the successful delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery energy storage (BESS).
The Project Manager will lead projects from contract award through final completion, overseeing all aspects of engineering coordination, procurement, construction execution, project controls, and client management. This role requires close collaboration with field leadership, engineering partners, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Superintendents and field leadership to plan work sequencing, staffing levels, productivity goals, and project schedules.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and risk while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate engineering deliverables, procurement activities, and construction planning to ensure timely project execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and cost forecasts, tracking progress and adjusting projections as work progresses.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, including procurement, contract negotiation, and performance oversight.
  • Prepare and negotiate change orders and manage project impacts to protect project schedule and financial performance.
  • Lead project meetings with clients, engineering partners, and key stakeholders to communicate project status and resolve issues.
  • Oversee project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement logs, and project reporting.
  • Coordinate material procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery of major equipment and construction materials.
  • Implement and enforce project-specific safety programs in partnership with field leadership.
  • Monitor job cost reports, production metrics, and project performance to maintain accurate cost-at-completion forecasts.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, working with leadership to develop solutions that keep projects moving forward.
  • Manage project closeout including punch lists, startup activities, final documentation, and warranty deliverables.
  • Mentor and support Project Engineers and other team members to foster professional growth and strong project teams.

Qualifications and Expectations:
  • 5+ years of experience managing construction projects, preferably within renewable energy, heavy civil, or EPC project environments.
  • Experience delivering utility-scale solar, wind, or battery energy storage projects strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, project scheduling, cost control, procurement, and subcontract management.
  • Working knowledge of project controls, forecasting, and production tracking.
  • Familiarity with OSHA requirements, construction safety programs, and quality management practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); scheduling software such as Microsoft Project preferred.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced project environments.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required. Project assignments may be located anywhere throughout the western United States.

Benefits:

  • 401(k) with Company Match
