Job description
- Assist in the conceptualization and design of trade show exhibits, retail displays, and experiential environments.
- Create 2D and 3D renderings, floorplans, elevations, and technical drawings using design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
- Work collaboratively with the design and sales team to translate client needs into effective booth concepts.
- Prepare presentation materials, mood boards, and visual mockups for internal reviews and client pitches.
- Revise designs based on feedback from clients and internal teams.
- Ensure that designs adhere to budget, brand guidelines, and show regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and design files.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Exhibit Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); knowledge of 3D Studio Max or similar is a plus.
- Basic understanding of spatial design, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating creative and technical design skills (school or freelance work acceptable).
- Familiarity with trade show industry standards and materials.
