Job description

Job Purpose:
- As a Dozer Equipment Operator at 3B DOZER SERVICE LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of construction, mining, or industrial projects by operating bulldozers with precision and safety. Your key duties will include operating machinery safely, performing preventative maintenance, and executing precision grading to site specifications, often utilizing GPS technology to achieve optimal results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate bulldozers to clear, move, and grade land, soil, rock, and debris on various sites.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Execute precision grading according to site specifications using GPS technology.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and read, interpret, or follow GPS-guided, onboard systems for precise earthmoving.
- Work in all weather conditions and maintain the ability to sit for long periods and climb in and out of machinery.
- Perform manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs, or operate other heavy equipment such as backhoes and loaders as needed.
- Adhere to site safety regulations and maintain a strong understanding of safety protocols.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Education:
- Strong understanding of site safety regulations
Required Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator
- Experience in operating bulldozers for land clearing, moving, and grading
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to sit for long periods and work in all weather conditions
- Capability to climb in and out of machinery
- Proficiency in following instructions from supervisors
- Competence in reading, interpreting, and following GPS-guided, onboard systems for precise earthmoving
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs
- Experience in operating other heavy equipment such as backhoes and loaders
- Knowledge or experience with GPS-controlled dozer systems, which is highly advantageous in modern construction settings
