Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for an Machine Operator II opportunity in Arden Hills, MN 55112 with an onsite work schedule. Responsibilities for Machine Operator II include but are not limited to:

·       Material Handling: Accurately weigh and load dry powders and liquid solvents based on strict batch formulas.

·       Equipment Operation: Run industrial mixers, control vacuum degassing systems to remove air bubbles, and monitor automated control panels or Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).

·       Quality Control: Collect slurry samples for laboratory testing to verify viscosity, particle dispersion, and homogeneity.

·       Safety & Compliance: Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), follow chemical handling protocols, and maintain a clean workspace (5S).

·       Requirements and Skills

·       Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).

·       Technical Literacy: Basic computer skills to log data, read standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operate PLC-driven systems.

·       Attention to Detail: High precision in measuring ratios to prevent costly batch failures or flaws in the battery coating line.

 

Candidates Machine Operator II must meet the following requirements to be considered:

·       HS Diploma or GED diploma required.

·       AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience. as a Grinding Machine Operator for Grinding; Molding Machine Operator for Molding; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·       Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed expectations of Machine Operator II including Compliance aspects. Six Sigma Yellow Belt training required.

·       Demonstrated good mechanical aptitude, proactive troubleshooting and machine maintenance capabilities. Ability to interpret drawings and use precision measuring tools and equipment is also required.

·       Shift: Onsite, M-F; 10PM to 6 AM

Pay Details: $27.00 per hour
