Job description

For more than 33 years, MasterWord has been a trusted provider of language access solutions, helping organizations communicate effectively across cultures and languages. We deliver interpretation, translation, and localization services in more than 250 languages across four continents. Our interpreters support clients in a wide range of settings, including healthcare facilities, schools, courtrooms, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and leading businesses, making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

We are currently seeking individuals who speak both Spanish and English fluently. The freelance opportunity we currently have available allows the successful candidate to make a difference in their community by helping those with limited English proficiency. This is for In Person Interpreting

Requirements:

  • MUST be Licensed Court Interpreter
  • Have informal or professional interpretation experience
  • Are fluent in both Spanish and English
  • It is preferred to have at least a two-year degree (or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in the healthcare industry experience is preferred, although not required (for example, pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital
