Job description

We are looking for a Metadata Coordinator for a top media & entertainment out of their Burbank CA offices!
  • Bill: $48.00/Pay $32.00
Responsibilities:
  • Translate label copy information as received by A&R and other parties into Metadata and populate repertoire system according to the Production Schedule deadlines - for both Frontline and Catalog releases.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager to confirm all relevant and necessary data points are being captured.
  • Attend weekly Production Meetings.
  • Proofing of artwork from Production and providing corrections/guidance.
  • Finalize and distribute Label Copy on all new releases (frontline and catalog).
  • Researching and verifying Publishing information/ownership on Catalog releases.
  • Inputting updates into repertoire system as necessary by request from Music Royalties.
  • Issuing Audio ISRCs by request from Licensing.
  • Researching and cleansing older Products and issues.
  • Entering new Sound Recordings derived from various audio-visual productions.
  • Inputting catalog releases for historical tracking.
  • Auditing data migration between two databases.
  • Develop knowledge of the Company Music Group releases.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the company.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the recorded music and music publishing industry, including label copy experience.
  • Basic office administrative skills, including efficient typing, email, and phone communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • 2+ years of database management experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Resourceful and proficient in utilizing research tools.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
