Job description

Talint's client is a growing and respected provider of safety and quality management consulting and services in the construction industry to both government and commercial clients. They have been in business for over 10 years building a strong reputation in the construction industry.

Our client is looking for a Safety Manager to provide safety management on the new Crystal City East Entrance construction project. The right candidate must have at least 15 years of construction safety experience, have their CSP, and completed their OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR/Blood Borne Pathogen trainings. The position is located in Arlington Virginia at the Crystal City Metro Station and the work hours are day shift Monday through Friday.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years of construction safety experience;
  • 5 years of safety experience for Railway/Trains;
  • OSHA 30;
  • First Aid/CPR/Blood Borne Pathogen Certifications
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP);
  • Must be able to work onsite in Arlington VA fulltime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of a construction safety plans, emergency response plans, job hazard analysis, and other safety related documents as required by our clients and project-specific requirements;
  • Devoted to worksite safety in implementing, enforcing, and maintaining the safety program for our clients;
  • Provide safety supervision of persons, equipment, and property affected by contract work;
  • Develop and conduct safety-training courses if necessary.
