The Gund Company has an immediate opening for a full-time 2nd Shift Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team!
Shift: 2nd Shift Monday to Friday 2:00pm to 10:30pm
Hourly Wage: $29.54/hr plus a 15% shift differential

Job Summary Team Lead
As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up various CNC and non-CNC production machinery, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties Team Lead
  • Be a technical resource for operators.
  • Train and develop less experienced operators with the help of the Value Stream Manager (VSM.
  • Complete work order paperwork and maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Operate machines like saws, manual mills, lathes, presses, routers, and more.
  • Conduct in-process inspections according to standard procedures.

Requirements
  • Intermediate math skills & aptitude
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand drawing and blueprints
  • Ability to use measuring instruments accurately and effectively
  • Accustomed to being flexible when changes occur.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed

Work Environment Team Lead
  • This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
  • The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
