Description

Duties

Program and operate CNC plasma cutting table to cut steel components to specification

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings

Import and edit part files/nesting layouts using CAD/CAM software

Set up material on the table and adjust cutting parameters (speed, amperage, torch height) for optimal cut quality

Deburr and clean up completed pieces to remove slag, sharp edges, and rough cuts

Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality; make adjustments as needed

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plasma table equipment

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Communicate with production team to prioritize cutting schedules and meet deadlines

Full Time

Monday - Friday

Pays $22/per hour, depending on experience (may be higher)

Benefits (Eligible at 90 Days)

Qualifications

Prior experience with CNC plasma table programming/operation preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Basic computer proficiency; CAD/CAM software experience a plus

Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

Ability to lift/move materials as needed and work safely around industrial equipment

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Ability to lift 50 lbs independently (100 lbs with assistance)

Ability to frequently stand, bend, push, pull, and various repetitive motions

Requirements

Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check

Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (including marijuana)
