Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with deep expertise in Python (Pandas) to support a large-scale enterprise platform migration project on AWS. This is a hands-on software development role focused on complex data manipulation, business logic implementation, and backend development, not web development, API development, or traditional ETL engineering.

This position requires strong coding skills, experience with containerization, cloud-native development, and Agile software delivery.
Required:
  • 8+ years of Python development experience
  • 6+ years of recent hands-on experience using Python Pandas (required)
  • Strong experience developing applications on AWS
  • Experience with:
    • boto3
    • Docker
    • Git
    • Linux

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications using Python.

  • Develop complex data processing applications using Python Pandas.
  • Manipulate and transform large datasets while implementing sophisticated business logic.
  • Design clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
  • Deploy and support applications using Docker containers.
  • Work within Linux and Windows development environments.
  • Participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Monitor applications using observability tools.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
  • Create technical documentation and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Pay Range: $65 - $75
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
