Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Rental Sales Agent to join our dynamic team! We are currently hiring for positions at our Knightdale and Cary locations.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the right rental vehicle to meet their needs
• Promote additional services and upgrades to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities
• Manage the rental process from reservation to vehicle return, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
• Conduct vehicle inspections, including manual handling and heavy lifting, to verify condition before and after rentals
• Clean, sanitize, and prepare rental vehicles in a timely manner to ensure they are safe, presentable, and ready for the next customer
• Maintain inventory control by tracking vehicle availability, performing regular inventory management tasks
• Handle phone communication with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while answering inquiries or confirming reservations
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining rental records, and processing payments efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with automotive rental industry operations and inventory management practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, for data entry and reporting purposes
• Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely, including knowledge of basic maintenance procedures
• Excellent communication skills for public speaking, customer interactions, and team collaboration
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking
• Ability to efficiently clean, sanitize, and prepare vehicles while meeting time-sensitive rental demands
• Previous experience in automotive rental or related industries is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
