Job description

Strength in Trust
OneTrust's mission is to enable innovation through the responsible use of data and AI. We believe that ensuring data is trusted shouldn't slow teams down-it should accelerate what's possible. This led us to develop the first technology platform for responsible data use in 2016. Today, with AI representing the latest and most impactful expansion of data yet, OneTrust is once again redefining what responsible innovation looks like. OneTrust, the AI-Ready Governance Platformโ„ข, unifies regulatory intelligence, automation, and connected governance workflows so businesses can continue to move at the speed of AI while ensuring good governance to prevent data misuse at scale. Trusted by thousands of organizations worldwide, OneTrust is shaping the future where trusted data becomes a transformative force for business and society.
The Challenge
OneTrust is entering its next chapter as the market leader in AI-ready governance. With a newly launched brand identity and an expanding platform story, we're looking for a Director, Brand & Creative to define and lead how our brand shows up in the market.
This is a distinctive leadership role that sits at the intersection of brand strategy, creative excellence, and operational scale. It builds on a strong in-house creative foundation while expanding the mandate to lead brand activation, creative systems, and the overall creative point of view for OneTrust.
The Director, Brand & Creative will ensure our brand is not only consistently applied, but clearly and confidently expressed across campaigns, digital experiences, content, events, customer marketing, and key corporate moments. Reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Marketing, this leader will serve as the steward of the OneTrust brand and the leader of our in-house creative function.
We are seeking a creative leader with a strong business mindset and a clear understanding of brand marketing-someone who knows that the best creative work does more than look good. It drives clarity. It shapes perception. It supports conversion. It helps the business grow.
Your Mission
Brand Leadership
  • Lead the activation and continued evolution of OneTrust's brand identity across global marketing programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Translate brand strategy, positioning, and narrative into clear, compelling brand expression across channels and touchpoints.
  • Establish and manage a brand governance model that drives consistency while enabling teams to move quickly and effectively.
  • Operationalize the brand through scalable systems, templates, standards, and guidance that support quality at scale.
  • Champion and lead the implementation of Canva as a creative enablement platform for marketing, with clear guardrails, workflows, and adoption best practices.
  • Partner closely with Content, Demand Generation, Events, Customer Marketing, PR, Product Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand expression across the business.
  • Shape the brand experience for flagship company and customer moments, including major events and executive-level initiatives.

Creative Leadership
  • Establish a strong creative point of view that shapes work upstream-before briefs, concepts, and asset development begin.
  • Lead the development of integrated campaign and brand asset suites that can be leveraged across marketing motions and channels.
  • Translate strategy into creative work that is distinctive, effective, and aligned to business goals.
  • Set a high bar for creative quality, craft, storytelling, and consistency across design, video, campaigns, events, and supporting assets.
  • Engage stakeholders early in the creative process to provide strategic input, alignment, and clear creative direction.
  • Serve as a trusted creative partner to marketers and leaders across the organization.
  • Manage agency and freelance partners as needed, providing strong briefs, clear feedback, and rigorous quality control.

Team & Operational Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary in-house team, including brand, design, and video talent.
  • Ensure the team has the right skill mix, operating model, and processes to support the needs of a growing B2B SaaS company.
  • Build effective ways of working that improve prioritization, collaboration, and speed without sacrificing quality.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
You Are/Have
  • 10+ years of experience in brand and creative leadership roles.
  • A background that includes agency experience and/or recent in-house leadership at a B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, or similarly complex business.
  • Proven experience building, scaling, and operationalizing brand and creative systems.
  • Strong business acumen and fluency in brand marketing, with a clear understanding of how creative work contributes to growth, market perception, and conversion.
  • Strong creative judgment and the ability to translate strategy into work that is both compelling and effective.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams and partnering across a broad set of marketing functions.
  • Comfort operating at both the strategic and executional levels in a fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance creative ambition with pragmatism, structure, and operational discipline.
  • A collaborative leadership style and the confidence to navigate the intersection of brand, creativity, and business impact.
