The Center For Transitional Living, Ltd is seeking a passionate and licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote care team. • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate clients and identify symptoms of mood disorders and other mental health issues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, incorporating evidence-based practices aligned with their unique needs and preferences.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, providing practical strategies for coping and fostering understanding within their support network.
• Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress, ensuring that therapeutic interventions remain effective and relevant.
• Create and maintain precise documentation that reflects client progress and complies with legal and ethical standards for confidentiality.
• Engage in collaborative multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews to share insights and enhance treatment strategies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and continuing education courses, to stay updated on best practices in psychotherapy.
• Serve as an advocate for mental health awareness within the community, helping to reduce stigma and promote access to mental health resources.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, trauma, and behavioral issues. Utilizing methodologies such as systems therapy, narrative therapy, and structural family therapy, you will tailor your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Active and valid LMFT license in California.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Strong client-centered communication skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in therapeutic relationships.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with diverse populations in a therapeutic setting.
• Experience with teletherapy and familiarity with digital health care systems.
• Background in crisis intervention and experience working with high-risk clients is a plus.
