Job description

Job title: Software Engineer 3

Number of positions: 2

  • duration: 10 months

JD:

Design efficient algorithms to simulate physical phenomena.
Implement the algorithms using advanced data structures for scalability.
Optimize those algorithms for speed and robustness through profiling and parallelization.
Produce high-quality software that is well documented, tested, and maintainable.
Collaborate with our applications team to understand and troubleshoot customer needs

  • Top skills:
  1. Direct experience with the implementation of 3D physical simulation algorithms, such as the finite element or finite volume method.
  2. Familiarity with iterative linear solver methods such as conjugate gradient or multigrid methods and with matrix-free methods.
  3. Experience in writing numerical solvers to solve the Laplace equation.
  4. Strong background in modern C++ programming, software engineering and building code from scratch.
  5. Strong fundamental math skills, including linear algebra, calculus, and geometry.
  6. Experience simulating electrochemical systems.
