Lead Data Governance Technical Analyst

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Lead Data Governance Technical Analyst to join the team in Seattle, WA; Mesa, AZ; or Plano, TX.

Join our team as a Data Governance Technical Analyst, where you will be instrumental in shaping our data strategy and ensuring compliance within the Data Governance team! In this exciting role, you will design and implement robust data architectures that drive innovation and support our organizational mission.

Your expertise will be vital in navigating complex regulatory requirements while optimizing data management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Position Responsibilities:

  • Implement Data Governance tools such as Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, etc.

  • Analyze and compare industry Data Governance products from functionality, compliance and security standpoint

  • Lead activities to define requirements, design and verify robust architecture, data and information management systems and components

  • Lead the identification of design constraints and ensure architecture conforms to data security requirements

  • Lead the development and configuration management of Data Governance tools

  • Evaluate products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments

  • Draft data and information management products and service standards

  • Assess impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle

  • Develop architecture and data/information management standards and strategies

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience using a variety of techniques and tools to analyze the data stored in databases, data warehouses and/or data marts

  • 5+ years of experience in deploying and managing distributed systems in cloud platforms (Ex. Azure, AWS, GCP)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

  • Experience communicating with all levels of leadership

  • Experience working in a global team

  • Experience with ITAR compliance
