Job description

Salary: $34-40 / hour

Foreman Commercial Framing and Drywall


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Foreman Drywall Framer or similar role

  • Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail

  • Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment

  • Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt

  • Display basic computer skills

  • Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions

Responsibilities:



  • Plan, organize, supervise, and provide expertise in performing journeyman-level Drywall Framer duties

  • Consulting with clients and contractors in a professional manner, assigning tasks, ensuring jobs are completed in due time and work is performed according to South Valley Drywall standards

  • Discipline, mentor and monitor the performance of employees

  • Support activities at all South Valley Commercial job sitesas directed

  • Review project plan and blueprints

  • Confirm layout with drawings and coordination drawings or model, generate RFI's for conflicts or differing conditions

  • Estimate time, material, equipment, and supplies needed

  • Track production of all phases of framing, drywall, and finishing

  • Develop work schedules and crew assignment

  • Adhere to all OSHA and South Valley Commercial safety practices and procedures

  • Develop and manage JHA's and Pre task planning, ensure crews are working safely and properly trained

  • Monitor inventories and request supplies and equipment

  • Ensure work areas are properly maintained

  • Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues

  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned


The keys to Success in this position are:


  • Consistent, in-person management on job sites

  • Effective time management

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with General Contractors, Team Members, SVC Employees, and sub-contractor management

  • Ability to understand and adapt to different personalities

Location: Colorado- Denver Metro Area

Schedule: Monday- Friday (Must be able to work weekends when necessary)


Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $34-$40/hour, based on experience and qualifications
