As a Project Manager 2, you are a member of PNC's Enterprise Change Management team and will work in office. You will be responsible for leading projects or supporting programs consistent with our risk and change governance principles.

You will require strong facilitation, communication, organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. You will use a variety of project management methodologies (waterfall, agile and hybrid) and systems to complete projects according to governance and operating standards. PowerPoint experience is preferred for presentations. Successful candidates will typically have at least 3 years of project management experience.


Key responsibilities include

  • Leads and / or supports projects as defined by role

  • Responsible for gathering information and requirements from multiple stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that align with business needs and expectations

  • Provides guidance on testing strategy, and develops and maintains all testing plans and artifacts including requirements, scripts, and defect logs

  • Adheres to corporate project methodology standards throughout project lifecycle

  • Manages projects from original concept through final implementation and post-project assessment. Accountable for meeting project objectives within established timeframes. May be assigned a single project or a portfolio. Typically project size is $500k to $2.5m.

  • Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

  • Partners with internal project liaisons to acquire human and material resources, assigns tasks, directs activities, and controls project execution. Motivates and supervises project team members.

  • Tracks and reports progress, analyzes the results based on facts, defines the products of the project, and forecasts future trends in the project. Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans.

  • Maintains communications for governing bodies and interested parties. Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.Manages projects from original concept through final implementation and post-project assessment.
