This is not a narrow framing-only position. The right person will have strong residential framing experience and be comfortable working across exterior remodels, siding, roofing, windows, decks, structural framing, and custom home projects.

You will lead field crews, solve problems on site, coordinate with project leadership, and help build a team that takes pride in doing work the right way.

This is a strong fit for someone who wants more than a job. Hybrid Construction is growing, and this role can develop into a long-term leadership seat as the company expands into larger remodels, custom homes, and future turnkey residential projects.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and support a residential construction crew in the field.

  • Oversee framing, exterior remodel, and custom home project work.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, layouts, and structural details.

  • Coordinate daily tasks, labor needs, materials, and jobsite priorities.

  • Work closely with project leadership to keep jobs moving on schedule.

  • Identify and solve field issues before they slow down the project.

  • Maintain high standards for quality, safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.

  • Train and mentor less-experienced crew members.

  • Help build a positive crew culture based on honesty, respect, accountability, and pride in the work.

  • Represent the company professionally with homeowners, team members, and trade partners.

What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications
  • Strong residential framing experience.

  • Experience leading or helping lead a crew in the field.

  • Ability to read and work from residential construction plans and blueprints.

  • Working knowledge of general residential construction.

  • Comfortable with exterior remodel scopes such as siding, roofing, windows, decks, and related carpentry.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to keep crews productive while maintaining quality and safety.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Ability to travel to project sites across the North Idaho service area.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Foreman, lead carpenter, or crew lead experience.

  • Experience with custom homes, remodels, or high-end residential work.

  • James Hardie siding, cedar accents, roofing, or exterior envelope experience.

  • Finish carpentry or broad residential construction background.

  • OSHA, fall protection, lift, or other safety training.

  • Ability to review engineering details, site conditions, and project sequencing.

  • 5+ years of strong hands-on carpentry or framing experience.

  • 10+ years of experience is a plus, but not required if leadership and skill level are strong.

Pay & Benefits
  • $32–$45+ per hour, based on experience and role fit.

  • Higher-end compensation available for candidates with strong foreman-level experience.

  • Bi-weekly pay.

  • Overtime potential.

  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.

  • Career growth and leadership advancement opportunities.

  • Paid training and mentorship opportunities.

  • Travel support, per diem, or relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

  • Additional benefits and field support may include uniforms, tools, or vehicle support depending on role fit and company policy.
