Job description

Talent Corps is currently seeking Finished Carpenters for a project in the Baton Rouge, LA area.
Carpenter is responsible for performing detailed carpentry work that requires precision, craftsmanship, and attention to finished quality. In this role the carpenter will be installing doors, working on framework, trim, cabinetry, and other architectural woodwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Install interior/exterior doors, door frames & hardware
Install finish trim including baseboards, crown molding, casing, handrails and other decorative woodwork
Install cabinetry, shelving, countertops & millwork
Measure, cut and assemble materials according to specifications
Able to read/interprets blueprints/drawings
Complete punch list items and ensure everything up to code
Follow safety standards
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience in finish carpentry or millwork installation
Able to use & provide own hand tools
Strong attention to details
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must have PPE (hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, steel toes)
Able to pass background and drug screen
