Job Overview
As a Fragrance Sales Associate, you create a warm, welcoming environment through genuine hospitality and exceptional customer service. You engage customers with personalized fragrance recommendations that reflect their style, mood, and preferences - making them feel confident, valued, and inspired. Both a beauty enthusiast and product expert, you demonstrate and sell a wide range of fragrances and related beauty products, while educating customers on notes, layering techniques, and usage. You contribute to a seamless shopping experience by fostering meaningful connections, anticipating needs, and delivering service with care.

  • Our colleagues begin each day energized and ready to make an impact. They wear their name badge with pride, greet teammates with a warm hello, and help ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers. Before getting started, they review their sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up to date on current trends and promotions - so they're fully informed and ready to engage, educate, and sell with confidence.
  • On the floor, they focus on the customer - offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and creating friendly, personal conversations to create customer relationships to bring the customers back.

Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12-24 hours per week. All schedules contain weekend shifts as part of the requirements. Hours are dependent on business needs and colleague availability.   • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Must be able to:
    • Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
    • Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
  • Able to engage customers with warmth and expertise by acknowledging them promptly, assessing their preferences, demonstrating fragrances, and offering tailored product recommendations that enhance their experience.
  • Drive sales and loyalty by using clientele tools to build lasting relationships, promote new launches and events, and collaborate across the Beauty team to ensure customers discover the full range of products and services.
  • Maintain a polished and efficient environment through accurate merchandising, inventory upkeep, hygiene and compliance standards, and the effective use of point-of-sale and mobile selling technology
  • Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
  • Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools to promote offers and product launches, participating in sales events, and staying up to date through ongoing training and vendor education.
  • Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
  • Meeting and surpassing daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
  • Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience
  • At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required

Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform
  • This position requires talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
  • Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders, reaching, including above eye level.
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions.
