What skills and qualifications are needed to be a fragrance advisor?

To thrive as a Fragrance Advisor, you need strong product knowledge, sales expertise, and a passion for the fragrance industry, often supported by retail experience or relevant training. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management tools, and sometimes brand-specific certifications is typical. Exceptional interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to build rapport with customers are essential soft skills in this role.
