Description

Join a growing sand processing team and help ensure our products meet strict quality standards through accurate, timely laboratory testing.


Previous laboratory experience is preferred, especially in mining, materials testing, or a heavy industrial environment.


We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to perform hourly and daily testing of frac sand samples, support quality control processes, and provide dependable results that help keep production moving.

In this role, you'll prepare and analyze samples, operate laboratory equipment, record and report test results, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient lab environment.


What You'll Do

  • Conduct hourly and daily testing of frac sand samples to evaluate quality, consistency, and compliance with standards.
  • Prepare samples for analysis, including weighing, sieving, mixing, and other required preparation steps.
  • Perform laboratory tests such as particle size distribution, density, and chemical composition using approved equipment and methods.
  • Record, compile, and communicate test results to supervisors and other team members.

Schedule

This role requires flexibility to support continuous plant operations.

  • Rotating shifts
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Requirements

 What You Bring

  • Preferred: Previous laboratory/quality control experience, ideally in a mining or materials testing environment.
  • Familiarity with frac sand testing methods and equipment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate laboratory equipment and use related software accurately.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, teamwork, and accurate reporting.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, work in various positions, and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
