Most FPSO Offshore positions follow a rotational work schedule—commonly two to four weeks working continuously onboard the vessel, followed by an equivalent period off. During onsite shifts, employees work long hours in a structured team environment, often living aboard the FPSO due to its remote location. To thrive in an FPSO Offshore role, candidates typically need solid knowledge of marine and oil & gas operations, technical mechanical skills, and relevant offshore certifications such as BOSIET or HUET. Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills are vital for working in challenging, multicultural environments often on a rotational basis. These skills ensure safety, operational efficiency, and effective collaboration in demanding offshore settings.
