Overview:
As a Production Associate you will be part of a dynamic team, building high quality commercial box trucks. Smyrna Truck and Cargo/Fouts Bros is a leader in box truck and fire truck manufacturing. Smyrna Truck and Cargo is currently seeking individuals who are ready to enter an exciting and challenging career. Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble walls, roofs and floors of box trucks.
  • Follow assembly order specifications to create units per customer requirements
  • Utilize various manual, air, electrical and hand tools in efficient and safe manner
  • Maintain Safe and Clean Working Environment
  • Provide general maintenance/cleaning for facility as requested

Job Requirements:
  • Must be fairly proficient in reading and interpreting assembly instructions and drawings to facilitate the assembly process
  • Ability to lift independently 20 lbs. regularly
  • Ability to stand for long periods, up to eight or more hours at a time
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carryout detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
