Job description

Job Description Summary:
Being at the forefront of innovation is exciting and leading transformation in a large global organization is a role that many people aspire to. If this is you, we have a transformational role in our newly developed platform services organization. We're looking for a transformational leader in our technology services hub focused on marketing technologies.
The Director, Adobe Platforms Operations is a hands-on engineering leader accountable for the operations, maintenance and development of Coca-Cola's marketing work-management and generative-AI creative platform ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Director, MarTech Platform Integrations, this leader owns the day-to-day health and the ongoing build-out of these platforms, supporting marketing operations, content production and brand compliance across all regions (North America, LATAM, EMEA, APAC).
The role covers a connected set of Adobe platforms that power how marketing work gets done and how on-brand content gets produced at scale: Adobe Workfront (marketing work and project management), Workfront Fusion (integration and automation), Adobe Firefly Design Intelligence (FDI) , the brand-intelligence capability co-created with Coca-Cola to codify our visual identity rules and scale brand compliance , and Adobe Firefly Foundry, our custom, IP-protected generative-AI models trained on Coca-Cola's brand and content to generate on-brand, production-ready creative. The leader keeps these platforms reliable and well-governed while continuously developing new capabilities, automations and integrations across them.
This leader runs the engineering and operations teams that configure, automate, integrate, maintain and extend these platforms, ensuring work, content and brand-intelligence flow cleanly between Workfront, the Firefly/GenStudio ecosystem, AEM Assets, and Coca-Cola's enterprise MarTech, AdTech, Customer and Commercial systems. The role is accountable for platform availability, delivery quality, brand governance and continuous improvement within the strategy and lifecycle direction set by the Senior Director.
Engineering Managers and senior engineers across the platform operations and development teams report to this leader, who is accountable for the team's delivery and growth.
This role reports to the Senior Director, MarTech Platform Integrations and partners closely with peer Directors, Brand/Creative operations, and Adobe on shared platforms and dependencies.
What You'll Do for Us:
Engineering Leadership & Team Excellence
Lead and develop high-performing platform operations and development teams, with clear accountability for platform health, automation quality and delivery.
Build teams that own the platforms end to end, from configuration and automation through testing, deployment, maintenance and support.
Recruit, develop and retain strong Workfront, Fusion and Adobe integration talent, creating a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
Lead through Engineering Managers and senior engineers, coaching for craftsmanship and growth.
Apply engineering and operations standards, operating rhythms and accountability frameworks aligned to outcomes, consistent with direction set by the Senior Director.
Platform Operations & Maintenance
Own the day-to-day operations, health and maintenance of the Workfront, Fusion, Firefly Design Intelligence (FDI) and Firefly Foundry platforms: availability, performance, configuration, releases, upgrades, environment governance and overall platform health.
Keep the platforms reliable and well-governed, with strong monitoring, support, change control and incident response, minimizing disruption to marketing and creative operations.
Manage licensing, access, and platform administration, ensuring consistent, secure and well-documented configuration across teams and regions.
Partner with Tech Operations on reliability and incident prevention, and maintain clear runbooks and operating rhythms.
Generative-AI Creative Platform & Model Operations
Operate and advance Firefly Design Intelligence: maintain the brand-intelligence rules and design systems that codify Coca-Cola's visual identity, so generated content stays on-brand and compliant at scale.
Manage the Firefly Foundry custom-model lifecycle: coordinate training, tuning, validation, deployment and refresh of IP-protected brand models with Adobe and internal teams, and govern how they're accessed and used.
Embed brand-safety and content-governance controls (human-in-the-loop review, content credentials, access permissions) so AI-generated creative is safe, on-brand and production-ready.
Connect Firefly outputs into the content supply chain (e.g., AEM Assets, GenStudio, creative production) and downstream channels, so on-brand assets flow to where they're needed.
Platform Development, Automation & Integration
Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the platforms: new capabilities, custom configurations, templates, and workflow design that meet evolving marketing and creative-operations needs.
Build automation and integrations using Workfront Fusion and APIs, connecting Workfront and the Firefly ecosystem with AEM Assets and Coca-Cola's enterprise MarTech, AdTech, Customer and Commercial systems.
Establish reusable patterns, connectors and standards that reduce manual effort and make the platforms easier to extend and maintain.
Drive an API-first, well-governed approach to integrations, with monitoring, clear data contracts and resilient failure handling.
Marketing Work & Content Operations Enablement
Operate the marketing work-management backbone in Workfront: intake, planning, prioritization, approvals and workflow governance, so marketing work and content move predictably at scale.
Partner with marketing, brand and regional teams to translate operational needs into reliable platform capabilities, automations and operating rhythms.
Embed data governance and privacy into platform configuration and integrations in line with enterprise requirements.
Technical & Architecture Execution
Implement and evolve the technical setup of the Workfront ecosystem, with clean, well-governed configuration, automation and integration across the connected Adobe and enterprise platforms.
Provide hands-on technical guidance and review for critical configuration, Fusion automation and FDI integration work.
Maintain a well-documented, maintainable platform setup so changes are safe, repeatable and easy to support.
Build for reliability, security and maintainability, balancing delivery speed with operational stability.
Generative & Agentic AI Enablement
Champion responsible use of generative AI for creative and content operations through Firefly Design Intelligence and Firefly Foundry, lifting content velocity and brand consistency while protecting brand safety.
Use AI and automation to streamline intake, creative production, versioning, localization and reporting, advancing from AI-assisted toward AI-enabled, on-brand content production over time.
Partner with Brand, Creative and marketing-operations stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases tied to measurable outcomes: time-to-market, content cost, throughput and brand compliance.
Apply guardrails for responsible AI: human-in-the-loop review, content credentials/provenance, model access controls, IP protection and brand governance.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a trusted partner to marketing operations and business teams, translating their needs into reliable platform capabilities and automations.
Communicate platform status, risks, tradeoffs and improvements clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
Partner with peer Directors, Tech Operations, Security and vendor partners on shared platforms, dependencies and operational readiness.
Operational Excellence & Delivery Effectiveness
Establish operations and delivery metrics for the platforms: availability/uptime, automation and integration success rates, incident and defect rates, request turnaround, and content/work throughput.
Drive modern practices: change governance, automated testing where applicable, observability, and incident readiness.
Ensure stability, reliability and maintainability of the platforms and automations, partnering with Tech Operations on incident prevention.
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership and continuous improvement across the teams.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Leadership & Delivery Experience
12+ years of progressive technology experience across marketing technology and platform operations, including hands-on work on the Workfront / Adobe ecosystem.
3+ years leading or managing engineering or platform operations teams.
Experience running platform operations and delivering configuration, automation and integration work in an agile / product-centric environment.
Track record building and scaling small to mid-size teams, including a mix of in house and vendor talent.
Strong partnership experience with Marketing, Creative/Brand operations and platform teams.
Technical Depth & Platform Credibility
Hands-on expertise across the Adobe marketing and creative-AI ecosystem, including Adobe Workfront, Workfront Fusion, Adobe Firefly Design Intelligence and Adobe Firefly Foundry (custom generative-AI models); able to configure, automate, integrate, operate and maintain them.
Strong automation and integration skills: Fusion scenarios, API-based integration, connecting Workfront and Firefly with AEM Assets/GenStudio and enterprise systems (cloud: AWS / Azure).
Track record operating and extending complex, enterprise-scale marketing work-management and content/creative-production platforms, ideally in global, multi-brand environments.
What We'll Do for You:
  • Exposure to World-Class Leaders: Availability to global technology leaders will expand your network and expose you to emerging technologies and techniques.

  • Global Connections: Allows you to develop, enhance and maintain global connections that allow us to move faster and learn from others.

  • Agile Work Environment: We embrace agile, with management that believes in removing barriers, so you are empowered to experiment, iterate, and innovate
