Overview

St. John Fisher University is an independent, liberal arts institution that provides a transformative education to approximately 3,800 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students each year. Job Responsibilities

The New Business Development Officer, Education & Partnerships serves as a key member of the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing (GIDDN), responsible for directing the development, execution, and continuous improvement of Institute educational products and partner engagement efforts. This role operates at the intersection of education, CE accreditation, and external partnerships, ensuring that educational offerings are high-quality, aligned with ANCC standards, and responsive to workforce needs.


The New Business Development Officer serves as the designated Lead Nurse Planner for Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD), with responsibility for directing and managing activity-level compliance and operationalizing accreditation standards, in collaboration with the Accredited Provider Program Director (Associate Director). The role also plays a central role in advancing the Institute’s national reach by cultivating relationships with health systems and supporting adoption of educational offerings.


Working in close collaboration with the Executive Director and Associate Director (APPD), the New Business Development Officer serves as a critical bridge between strategy and implementation. The position exercises independent judgment in managing cross-functional projects, engaging subject matter experts and partners, and advancing complex initiatives from concept through execution.
