We offer residential treatment programs desiged especially for adolescents facing mental health, trauam and substance use challanges. With personalized care, evidence-based therapies and supportive staff, we empower youth to heal, grow and move upward. Foundations for Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN - Registered Nurse to join our team and provide vital support on alternate weekends. Our organization operates as a residential treatment facility, catering to at-risk youth in need of specialized care and support. As an RN at Foundations for Living, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and health of our youth residents, contributing to their positive growth and development. Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor their effects
  • Conduct health assessments and document observations accurately
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Provide emotional support and crisis intervention as needed

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in Ohio
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and at least 2 years experience in the nursing field preferred
  • Valid State Registered Nursing License
  • CPR and First Aid
  • Experience working in a mental health setting with adolescents, preferred
  • Strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
