Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Foundation Repair role based at Louisiana Supreme Rice Mill in Baton Rouge, LA. The Foundation Repair specialist is responsible for inspecting building foundations and related structures, identifying signs of settlement, cracking, or moisture intrusion, and recommending appropriate repair methods. Day-to-day tasks include performing repairs such as leveling, reinforcement, sealing, and structural maintenance, using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment in an industrial setting. The role involves working closely with maintenance teams, documenting findings and repairs, and communicating clearly with supervisors to minimize disruption to mill operations. The individual must follow safety procedures, adhere to quality standards, and help maintain the long-term stability and safety of the facility.
Qualifications

  • Strong Maintenance & Repair skills with experience in structural or foundation work in industrial, construction, or similar environments.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting issues related to building foundations, structural integrity, and related equipment.
  • Commitment to Customer Satisfaction, ensuring internal stakeholders and facility operations are supported with reliable, high-quality repair work.
  • Effective Communication skills for reporting findings, documenting repairs, and coordinating with supervisors and maintenance teams.
  • Experience with general Appliance Repair or industrial equipment repair is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, concrete, and reinforcement methods, and ability to read basic plans or diagrams.
  • Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, including lifting, bending, and working in confined or outdoor areas.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in construction, maintenance, or related field is a plus.
