Job description

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Factory Floor Manager to run daily operations at our fortune cookie production facility — overseeing production, staffing, and food safety as our facility's PCQI.


What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily production to hit schedules and output targets; troubleshoot issues and downtime
  • Ensure the floor is properly staffed across shifts; supervise, schedule, and train production staff
  • Serve as PCQI: own the Food Safety Plan, hazard analysis, and preventive controls per FSMA
  • Ensure staff compliance with HACCP and food safety protocols; conduct audits and monitoring
  • Maintain audit-ready compliance documentation; lead corrective actions and serve as point of contact for inspections/audits
  • Enforce safety, sanitation, and quality standards; manage materials inventory and report on key metrics


What We're Looking For

  • Experience in food manufacturing or production management required
  • Active PCQI certification preferred (or eligible/willing to obtain upon hire)
  • Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Experience supervising and scheduling production teams
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
