Role Summary

National Accounts Manager

The National Accounts Manager will lead Fortress's strategic relationships with private wealth platforms and home offices, driving firm wide penetration, product adoption, and long-term partnerships across wirehouses, private banks, IBDs, and large RIA aggregators. This senior leader will set national account strategy, manage key decisionmaker relationships, and coordinate crossfunctional execution across sales, product, marketing, legal, and investment teams to accelerate growth of Fortress's alternative investment offerings in the private wealth channel.

This role is a cornerstone leadership position within Fortress Private Wealth Solutions, reporting to the Co-Heads of Private Wealth Solutions and acting as the primary point of accountability for national platform engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

National Account Strategy & Platform Coverage

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive national accounts strategy aligned with Fortress's private wealth growth objectives and product roadmap.
  • Drive senior level relationships with home office, platform, research, due diligence, and investment committees at major wirehouses, private banks, IBDs, and RIA networks.
  • Lead platform onboarding, product approvals, shelf placement, and ongoing platform engagement across evergreen, and drawdown alternative vehicles.

Distribution Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Drive asset growth across private credit, real estate, and other alternative strategies distributed through private wealth channels.
  • Partner closely with regional sales leadership, internal sales, and product specialists to ensure consistent national messaging and coordinated account execution.
  • Influence territory planning, coverage models, and prioritization of strategic platforms and enterprise relationships.

CrossFunctional Partnership

  • Serve as the central liaison between national accounts and internal stakeholders including investment teams, product management, marketing, legal, compliance, and operations.
  • Collaborate on product design and structuring to ensure alignment with platform requirements, advisor usability, and investor demand.
  • Guide development of national account-specific marketing, education, and sales enablement initiatives in coordination with Private Wealth Solutions marketing.

Platform Education & Thought Leadership

  • Represent Fortress at seniorlevel platform events, national conferences, advisory councils, and strategic offsites.
  • Support delivery of firmwide alternatives education, portfolio construction frameworks, and thought leadership tailored to private wealth gatekeepers and advisors.

Team Leadership & Governance

  • Pathway to build, mentor, and lead a highperforming national accounts team as the platform scales.
  • Establish best practices for platform engagement, CRM discipline, datadriven decisionmaking, and national account governance.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10-15+ years of experience in asset management distribution, with deep expertise in private wealth and alternative investments.
  • Proven track record leading national account relationships at a major alternatives manager or traditional asset manager.
  • Extensive experience navigating home office due diligence, platform approval processes, and enterpriselevel distribution agreements.
  • Strong understanding of alternative product structures commonly used in private wealth channels (e.g., interval funds, tender offer funds, REITs, BDCs, evergreen vehicles).
  • Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced credential preferred.

The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $200,000 and $275,000

The base salary range proposed for this role has been set forth to comply with local law, but salary is only one element of the total compensation for this role. The base salary range suggested above does not include compensation elements such as bonuses, overtime and deferred cash (each of which are applicable in certain roles), benefits, perquisites, and company contributions to employee 401(k) accounts. Such other pay components often result in total compensation materially exceeding base salary for a particular role. Total compensation as well as base salary for a role depend in part upon individual performance, years of service, experience, geographic considerations, the performance and the needs of particular business units, company performance, and general market conditions.
