Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Tucker GA (20 miles NE of Atlanta)

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues to join our medical practices in the Tucker, GA area . Our ideal Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections, so the incoming candidate must have experience doing those types of procedures. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be splitting their time, covering our offices in Tucker, Cumming and our office in Gwinnett County.

Duties:

  • Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
  • Order and review tests/labs (MRIs, NCVs, etc)
  • Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
  • Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities
  • Manage patient care
  • Treatments- perform trigger point and joint injections
  • Prescribe physical therapy and/or chiropractic care as needed
  • Prescribe medications as necessary for pain and treatment (no narcotics prescribed)
  • Documentation and progress notes โ€“ daily, timely and accurate
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) program
  • PA/NP license in GA
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is required
  • Experience with trigger point and joint injections is required
  • Ability to float between our offices in Tucker, Cumming and Gwinnett County

Schedule:

  • Full time
  • Monday โ€“ Friday

Compensation:

  • $125k-$130k (DOE)
