Position Overview

We are hiring a Product Manager for Siemens Polarion Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). The role focuses on leading product strategy, vision, and roadmap for Polarion ALM, ensuring it satisfies customer needs and aligns with Siemens business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for Polarion ALM, aligned with market trends, customer needs, and Siemens business goals. Ensure the product roadmap supports long‑term growth, sustainability, and Software‑as‑a‑Service orientation.
  • Business Development: Drive business-oriented growth and identify new opportunities to expand market share.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary advocate for customers, understanding their needs, challenges, and feedback, collaborating with key customers to gather insights, validate product ideas, and ensure satisfaction, particularly regarding Polarion scalability and data retention.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and product differentiation opportunities; use analysis to inform product decisions and set priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to deliver high‑quality product features. Prioritize features, define requirements, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond; manage product releases, enhancements, and continuous improvement based on customer feedback and market demands.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in ALM, PLM, or System Engineering.
  • Strong business‑oriented mindset with experience in business development and strategic growth.
  • Solid understanding of Software Defined Products (SDP) and associated methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional environment.
  • Customer‑focused approach with passion for solving complex problems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to engage with customers and global teams.
