Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, is the only purpose-built Grand Prix facility in the United States

designed for all classes of racing. The 3.4-mile racetrack hosts the world’s most prestigious sporting

events, including Formula 1 United States Grand Prix, MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas,

NASCAR at COTA, as well as world-renowned concerts, music festivals, and opportunities for track

rentals. The 1,500-acre campus is also home to the award-winning Germania Insurance Amphitheater,

driving experiences including COTA Karting, expansive meeting and hospitality spaces, and an iconic 25-

story observation tower that offers 360-degree views of the circuit, amphitheater, and downtown

Austin.


Circuit of the Americas is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented team player who knows how

to balance networking and relationship building with the attention to detail that is required for

the successful execution of events. As a key part of our sponsorship team, this role assists with

sponsor fulfillment and department organization.


Dates of Internship:

  • Start Date – Aug 10th, 2026
  • Finish Date – Nov 20th 2026
  • Paid Internship
  • Hours/Week: 20hrs/week
  • In-person/on-site work - Austin TX

Responsibilities:

  • Learn about event production during Formula 1 by supporting the coordination of
  • Formula 1 sponsorship activations and ensuring that all sponsor deliverables are fulfilled before, during, and after events.
  • Provide on-site support during events like Formula 1 including setup, sponsor coordination, and post-event evaluations.
  • Assist with ticketing and credential deliverables.
  • Assist with adding contract details onto Salesforce.
  • Complete organizational tasks such as managing and organizing COTA sponsorship asset tracker and “Welcome Packets” for F1 sponsors.
  • Manage the asset organization of the event bins used during major events.
  • Assist with the creation and organization of event production materials used for Formula 1.
  • Design an F1 recap info graphic on Canva that highlights valuable KPIs.
  • Create a photo shot list that showcases all of COTA’s partners activations and assets during F1 weekend.
  • Participate in a semester long project and present to team at the end of the internship.
Requirements:

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Canva for basic graphic design and presentation materials
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
