Job description


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Match fabric and cut sheet to ensure correct fabric is being used
  • Load spreading equipment with fabric
  • Build spreads for cutting by operating spreading equipment, maintaining quality standards of edges
  • Pulls spread work down the table for cutting machine
  • Measures fabric and checks spread for fabric defects, counts ply height and checks fabric against cut tickets
  • Completes paperwork listing; yardage, number of rolls used, dye lot and roll information
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift up to 45lbs
  • Must be able to read & write (English Language)
  • Must be able to work in standing position for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work a production shift with overtime as necessary (i.e.: flexible hrs)
  • Detailed oriented
  • Must be organized and able to follow instructions
  • Other responsibilities as required
