Compensation Range: $16.00-18.00/hour plus gratuity, commensurate with experience and education
Age Requirements: Must be 16+
Additional Requirements: Must be available for afternoon and evenings shifts.

Role Summary:
This individual is responsible for greeting arriving guests, seating, establishing rapport and assisting with their overall restaurant experience
Responsibilities:
- Meets arriving guests with cordial greeting, escorts to assigned tables, issues menus, and solicits rapport in order to accommodate specials needs or requests.
- Assigns sections and notifies servers of new guests in their section to ensure the guest receive immediate attention.
- Maintains a highly visible appearance in the restaurant during the entire shift and helps servers and bartenders when necessary.
- Manages and controls reservation book (open table) to ensure quality service.
- Maintains a highly visible appearance in restaurant during entire shift.
- Elicits feedback from departing guests on their experience and service.
- Exhibits a professional appearance and maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Answers telephones using the standard greeting in a pleasant amp; professional manner.
- Takes complete and accurate messages and/or reservations from guests.
- Keeps a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Attends daily pre-shift meetings.
- Maintains a complete and up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, daily additions and beverages offered.
- Follows hotel and departmental policies and procedures.
- Understands applicable emergency procedure and evacuations.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- High school Diploma or equivalent education.
- Certification in alcohol awareness program (BASSET) is preferred.
Experience
- Background in Customer Service or experience working in a restaurant.
- Previous experience with MIRCOS system a plus.
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Neat and clean appearance.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work nights weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Must be able to bend, squat and lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
