Pay: $20 to 30 an hour. Pay is dependent on experience and skill set. The amount is not inclusive of the total compensation package.

What can you expect as a die setter on a typical shift at ACEMCO?
You will be working as an experienced Die Setter in the set-up and operations of the power press to manufacture metal products by performing the following responsibilities. As a die setter, you will perform a variety of operations including but not limited to:

Education and/or Experience

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hearing protection is required and supplied. Eye protection (safety glasses) is required and supplied. You are required to purchase and wear steel-toe safety shoes or boots.

Shift Hours:
1st shift- 6 a.m. - 2 p.m.
3rd shift – 10 p.m. – 6 a.m.
Monday – Friday with occasional overtime to be expected on Saturdays and Sundays.
