Job description

Security Officer

This position operates under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for protecting and safeguarding assets, personnel, customers, and visitors at assigned sites.

Shift Available: 8am- 4pm Saturday and Sunday only

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Experience Required: 1 year in security

Location: Forest Park, Georgia

Job Duties:

  • Protect the client's interests within the facility and safeguard the lives and property of employees and visitors.
  • Observe and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate any disturbances.
  • Prepare daily reports as trained and submit them to the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct patrols as required by post orders.
  • Monitor and control access to the property as required by post orders.
  • Notify the proper authorities in all emergency situations as outlined in the post orders.
  • Report all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Stand for long hours.
  • Be willing to work extended hours.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required by the client and the specific post.
