Job description

JOBSUMMARY:

Assistsintherepairand trackingofon-site equipment,vehiclesand machinery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repair
    • Assistsinthe auto shop for dailyassignmentand duties.
    • Receives training to advance the auto shop's skill set with vehicles and equipment.
    • Possesses thewillingnessto repair Forest Home vehicles,equipmentand machinery
    • Utilizes CMMS for work order management,trackingand completion of all requests.
    • Responsible for keeping inventory and tools organized and in good condition.
    • Ability to work in extreme hot orcold conditions
    • Assistsin snow removal and other tasks asassignedincluding after normal work hours.
  • Tracking
    • Monitor vehicle registrations, smog certificates,servicingand maintenance records to ensure compliance and timeliness.
    • Perform in assignedareas asrelated to ourcmms.
  • Safety
    • Ensuresfacilitiesisin safe workingconditionandreports potential safety issues and recommends appropriate changes.
    • Ensures tools and maintenance equipment are in working order and keeps maintenance buildings clean and organized.
    • Operate different tools and equipment such as golf carts, company vehicles, heavy equipment, forklifts, etc. in a safe manner.
    • Complies withfactory specifications in relationship to equipment andmaterial, andassures that all materials are handled according to factory recommendations and training.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
