Opportunity for anesthesiologist in Middletown, NY, at Garnet Health Medical Center-seven floors of state-of-the-art technology Garnet Health Medical Center is the only hospital in Orange County, NY, to earn Magnet redesignation, winning the award for nursing excellence for the second time in 2021. This nonprofit medical center based in rapidly growing Middletown has more than 2,400 healthcare professionals, including more than 600 doctors who have privileges here. It serves a broad base of patients from the area. Previously known as Orange Regional Medical Center, Garnet Health Medical Center opened as a state-of-the-art facility in 2011. At that time, the 383-bed facility was the first new hospital constructed in New York State in two decades.

• Endo, general, ortho, labor and delivery, radiology, URO, vascular, GYN, ENT, neuro, and plastics
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
