Join Our Team of California Mental Healthcare Providers!

Foresight is an outpatient mental health company that offers virtual and in-person therapy across California. Our purpose is to improve access to high-quality mental health care. We are actively hiring for a Maternal Mental Health Therapist to join our growing Maternal Mental Health (MMH) Specialty Program.  

In this exciting new role, the Maternal Mental Health Therapist provides individual and/or group therapy to clients in the MMH Specialty Program using evidence-based perinatal and reproductive mental health approaches. They participate in interdisciplinary MMH rounds, contributing to case discussions, treatment planning, and program development. They develop and deliver internal education for clinicians, help evaluate program effectiveness, support continuous improvement efforts, and serve as an advocate for maternal mental health within and beyond the organization.

What You'll Do:

Clinical

  • Provide individual and group therapy to individuals who are trying to conceive or in the perinatal period using evidence-based approaches.
  • Maintain a clinical caseload between 25-35 clients depending on program needs and administrative time. 
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
  • Support screening, intake, and assessment to ensure appropriate fit and timely access to care.
  • Collaborate with psychiatry and other disciplines to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
  • Provide crisis management and stabilization as needed.

Program Collaboration and Development

  • Participate in interdisciplinary MMH program rounds, contributing to case discussions, treatment planning, and program development.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and address trends, barriers, and opportunities for program growth.

Education and Outreach

  • Develop and deliver internal education on perinatal and reproductive mental health.
  • Create and present client-facing education, workshops, or support groups for community engagement.
  • Represent the MMH program at internal and external events.
  • Serve as an advocate for maternal mental health within and outside the organization.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $80,000-$90,000 base annual salary based on qualifications including experience, education and certifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field 
  • Postpartum Support International PMH-C certification strongly preferred. Candidates without PMH-C certification should demonstrate significant focused experience providing mental health care to patients during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
  • Current California licensure as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Licensed Psychologist.
  • Minimum of two years post license experience in behavioral health, IOP or PHP experience.
  • Strong communication including proactive and responsive communication with clients and internal teams. 
  • Proficiency with essential technology platforms, such as EHR systems, Zoom, Google Suite, and Dayforce
