Job Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and analyzing financial information, accounting records, tax returns, and court pleadings in support of litigation and dispute matters.

  • Assisting with litigation discovery on document requests.

  • Financial modeling and analysis for litigation matters and forensic accounting engagements.

  • Playing a key role in fraud investigations, including embezzlement, financial reporting fraud, Ponzi schemes, health care fraud, and other matters.

  • Playing a key role in dispute and litigation consulting matters, including partnership disputes, billing disputes, real estate disputes, post-acquisition disputes, IP disputes, lost profit analysis, lost wage analysis, and other matters.

  • Assisting in the overall engagement and client relationship process including client communication, invoicing, collections, managing budgets, preparing client deliverables, and presenting information to clients.

  • Assist with business development efforts including preparing proposals and attending industry and networking events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related area of study

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing litigation support, investigation, and forensic accounting services

  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial modeling

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA license, and/or CFE, and/or MAFF, and/or CFF

  • Other credentials that relate to fraud and forensic investigations, business valuations, and the like

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $83,600 - $113,900. For Washington residents, Illinois residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $92,000 - $125,300. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $96,100 - $130,900. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
