The Opportunity
As a Legal, Regulatory & Compliance Consulting Intern, you will engage with our Advisory practice, focusing on legal specialties within the Office of General Counsel. You will have the chance to support teams in delivering comprehensive solutions that help clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes, manage risks, and enhance compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to PwC's methodologies and practices, contributing to projects that address fraud, misconduct, and regulatory challenges.
As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments. This role emphasizes the importance of taking both observational and participatory roles on teams, allowing you to develop your personal brand and build a foundation for future opportunities.
In this role, you will be part of our Risk & Regulatory network, working within our Advisory practice. You will contribute to our Fraud, Investigations & Regulatory Enforcement services, helping businesses mitigate risks and improve compliance. This position provides a platform to develop your skills in legal compliance, regulatory management, and forensic investigations, setting the stage for a rewarding career in legal consulting.
Responsibilities
- Supporting teams in conducting investigations and forensic analyses to address fraud and regulatory violations
- Participating in the development and implementation of compliance and governance solutions for clients
- Assisting in the preparation and review of legal documents to validate accuracy and adherence to regulations
- Engaging in research and analysis of commercial laws and regulatory requirements to support client projects
- Contributing to the management of corporate records and legal databases to maintain data integrity and accessibility
- Collaborating with team members to develop strategies for contract negotiation and dispute resolution
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to gain exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies
- Applying a learning mindset to enhance personal development and contribute effectively to project goals
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year
