Skilled techniciansare in high demand. So, to keep a good service tech, you have totreat them right. Here, you'll work alongside some of the best inthe business. You'll also be responsible for diagnosing andrepairing client and dealership vehicles while maintaining apositive relationship with clients who return with unsatisfactorywork. We run an honest shop and need honest, hard-working techs.Only those who value integrity and ethics need apply.
Job Responsibilities
  • Examine anddiagnose vehicles
  • Discuss repairswith shop foreman or service advisor
  • Communicateadditional service requests to service advisor
  • Plan workprocedures in cooperation with shop foreman
  • Provide labortime estimates to service advisor
  • Monitor repairtime and update service advisor regularly
  • Maintain strictadherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
  • Complete storyand/or documentation for client repairs
  • Assist inmentoring technician trainees
  • Attend companyand factory training
  • Keep currentwith factory technical bulletins
  • Understand andfollow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposalof hazardous waste)

Requirements
Education and/or Experience
  • High schooldiploma or GED (general equivalency diploma); or relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
  • Domestic brand experience required

Certificates,Licenses, Registrations
  • Validdriver's license
  • ASE Certification preferred
